Seasonal volunteer opportunities

We rely heavily on event volunteers to help to support community events and we could not run them successfully without dedicated volunteers like you!

VanDusen Festival of Lights

Light tester volunteers

Light testers help to test lights, sort string colours, assemble decorations, and assist with other holiday decor projects. Light testing is a group effort so this would be a great opportunity to share with friends or family.

Event volunteers

Help transform VanDusen Botanical Garden into a festive, sparkling wonderland. This is an outdoor event so most volunteers will be working outside in various support roles.

Wrap up volunteers

As VanDusen Festival of Lights comes to an end we're looking for volunteers to assist us with the tear down of the event. This includes testing lights, sorting string colours, dismantling decorations, and packing everything into boxes.
